A road trip to Melaka.
It took us 3-4 hours of non-stop riding, not counting the journey back to Sg.
Riding at a speed of 140-160km/hr sure puts me to sleep. It was a struggle with the sleep demon as i didnt want to fly off the bike whilst dreaming about la-la land.
Did i mention that my shoulders, thighs and butt were aching terribly? The pain only hits you after having spent more than 20 minutes sitting on that darn sports bike. It has speed, but you wont last long riding in a hunched up body position. A test of my endurance, tolerance and patience it really was. Endurance i may have, but tolerance and patience? It really depends.
So my friends, next time, ride in with either a super fast Ducati or a super slow but relac-jet uncle motorcycle okie? LOL
N before we even managed to grab a bite from A&W, me and Dar got L.O.S.T on the highway. 2 of the bikers, who were ahead of us, suddenly disappeared from dar's view. Stopped by the road shoulder in hope that the other 2 bikers (behind us) would show up. But NO, after 5, 10, 15 minutes, there was still no sign of them. Thus, we made a quick decision to head back towards JB before it got dark.
The 2 lost sheep. At Simpang! Approaching KL. That's how far in we were. Haha.
Yes, that full face helmet's really big and heavy. I find it quite difficult to balance myself. No like it at all.
Temperatures dip really low at night on the highway. With minimal street lights and with vehicles, including huge trucks and buses zooming past you at such high speeds, night riding/driving in M'sia can be pretty dangerous.
N so, it was pretty much an unfruitful road trip to Melaka. No seafood, no A&W, no Chendol, no cheap chinese fan-fare or whatsoever. Only mosquito bites, sun burns and a burnt mark (from dar's exhaust pipe) on my ankle. BOO.
I hope i did burn some F.A.T.S though.
My bed and beauty sleep is all i ask for now.
Shagged, like totally.
