Lunch, at TCC (Shaw) with my Aunt.
She had her all-time-TCC-Favourite, Seafood Aglio.Spaghetti Aglio Olio subtly flavoured with Chili and Garlic accompanied with succulent pan-seared Scallops and juicy Prawns.
It was spicier, as requested. The spaghetti was a little too moist and over-cooked. Aunt reckons that TCC's Aglio, over at the CBD outlet tastes better.
I, on the otherhand, ordered a Surf-In Fantasia. Its a new item on the menu.Breaded Sea Pearch served atop a toasted bun with shavings of melted cheese.
This is Good! The bun's uber crispy on the edges and the sea-perch's really tasty! Crispy on the outside, soft and delicate on the inside. Albeit like McDonald's Fish Fillet. Sides
For drinks, we shared a Hazelnut Frapp.
IMHO, i think it tastes better with a double dosage of Hazelnut. Well, that's partly because i'm not someone who can appreciate coffee and caffaine very much.
Spent the rest of the afternoon SHOPPING! Had our eye-brows trimmed at I NUOVI too. We got loads of cosmetics! I think M.A.C has nice lip-gloss. Heh.
Tea-Time dessert at Cedele, Swissotel. This is the only thing i like and will eat at Cedele. Dont exactly fancy their sandwiches as their bread is uber huge, thick and floury.Carrot Cake
Love the Cream Cheese Frosting and Walnuts to bits and pieces.
In fact, Carrot Cake and Banana Walnut Cakes are gonna be my next experiment. Soon, soon.
Went our seperate ways after that. Took a train to dar's place for dinner. His dad claimed that he wasnt cooking tonight, but lo and behold, there was a bigger home-cooked feast than usual on the dinner table! I really wonder how he manages all that. And i told dar:
"next time, don't have to inform your dad that i'l be coming for dinner, just ask him to fry an egg and he'l know for sure Pam's coming."
