Another weekend outing with the family once again!
Uncle drove his new car to pick me, dar and grandma up. Its big, spacious and comfy. Albeit difficult to manoevure, dat's all. That's big cars for you.
Lunched at the newly renovated food centre located along Smith Street, Chinatown. Compared to the former, this newly revamped FC houses a wider variety of food items, from Japanese, to Peranakan, to Shanghainese and even DimSum! Not forgetting the better ventilation and brighter lighting as well.
Strangely, all of us had noodles from the same stall. Grandma had prawn dumpling noodles, dar and aunt had chicken curry noodles, while i had their wanton noodles! In fact, it aint wantons that get me craving for wanton mees but charsiews themselves. The chunkier, the more charred, the more they glisten under the lights, the merrier. Heh.
N we brought grandma to the Underwater World, Sentosa, for a mini excursion today! In view of their school holiday promotion, tickets were selling at a discounted rate. Promotion ends tomorrow.
ARGHH, i think the fishes look monsterous and hideous. I dint even dare touch the stingray after dar told me they felt slimy. N i discovered that dolphin lagoon actually organizes swimming sessions with the dolphins! Its all day (except Wednesdays) at one time slot - 9.45am. Am definitely gonna drag dar for this. Dolphins!!!
For tea-break, we had fruit juices from Alexanders' FC. We had strawberry soursop and peanut avacado. The latter's so NICE! It taste just like peanut butter milkshake! Except slightly milder and healthier! OMGawd am so craving for it right now.
Dinner was a simple affair. We ta-bao-ed from downstairs and had it at GM's place. Dar even managed to steal a 2-3 hr nap. I helped him create a "fortress" to block out the lights. LOL. Played with Laughing Elmo.
Had problems loading the video. Next time, perhaps.
N that's my Saturday for you. A very HOT one indeed.
