Brain dead. Exams from 9am-3pm. Who wouldnt be?
Dinner with the family at Pu Tien, Kitchener Road.

First up, Fried EggPlant with PorkFloss

This is YUMMY! The pork floss compliments the fried eggplant pretty well.
Next came the Fried Noodles (Mee Sua). Even YUMMIER! Its one of their specialties. Still tastes as good as the one i had on my first visit.

N then came the deep fried oyster omelette, their signature homemade beancurd, shredded meat with bun, and spinach with century and salted egg in supreme stock.

I cant comment on the oyster omelette because yours truely doesnt eat oysters. Smooth and silky, the beancurd's one of the best ive tried. I kinda like the shredded meat with bun dish. The fried-till-golden-brown-crisp-perfection buns especially! Very very savoury. The veggies were pretty good too! The stock, the salted egg yolk (my fave!), the century egg, the green leafy veg, everything went so well together.
N for desserts, we each had a soya bean egg tart from Le Confectionary situated along Middle Road. Tastes so much like tau huay. Haha. I wonder whether they obtain their soya bean from the nearby Rochor Beancurd stall. LOL. N we shared coffee flavoured cookies too. YUM. Tom Paletted as well. Like 2 times in a week? LOL. Eunice's forever so nice. She reserved 2 cups of butter pecan for us! Thankie! =)

Prices over at Pu Tien are very reasonable. Our total bill amounted to $113 for 8 pax. Do your maths and it'l work out to be abt $14 per head. For the food quality and pretty good service, i'd say this is quite a steal.
Do note that this restaurant can get very very packed on most nights. Weekends and PH especially. So do make reservations before coming down, else, spend more than an hour with the huge crowd outside waiting for a table.
