Law is complicated, yet quite interesting to learn. Psychology was fun today. We played memory games, which certainly helped pass time. =Pp

OOO, look what i bought.

Yes, a cupcake! Got it from Arts. Almost bought a bikini from one of their bazaar stalls but dint in the end. Hmmm.

Dar waited for me at the Arts Canteen. We had a dinner arranged at 7pm, at Absolute Haven.

Meanwhile, we played pool at Parklane. Yes, i suck terribly at pool. I got quite bored after a while. Stopped playing after 20minutes. Instead, proceeded to the arcade and challenged dar to a car racing game. Yes, yours truely came in first. He Heh!

Took a stroll around Mt Sophia. Wanted to play swing at the park's playground but they only had one.

Walked very s-l-o-w-l-y to Absolute Haven. Its a restaurant located at Prinsep Street, situated within one of the shophouses directly opposite Mr Bean's Cafe.

Its not a very big restaurant. With candles lit up at every table, warm lighting, and string curtains to serve as dividers, it kinda gave the surrounding ambience a nice romantic feel.

They even printed my name on the reservation card! Haha.

Service here is especially prompt and effcient. They actually add strawberry, instead of the usual lemon slices, into their jugs of plain water! In fact, each sip of water will actually leave behind a mild strawberry after taste. Very unique indeed.

For starters, we ordered calamari served with mango aioli dip and shared a bowl of mushroom soup. For mains, i had an oriental cod fish while dar had tenderloin steak done medium rare.

The calamari was nicely fried and quite tasty too. They were garnished with strands of fried tapioca. Pretty good too but Chippy's still my fave though. =)

This isnt the typical cream of mushroom kinda soup. Its thick mushroom soup with lots of mushroom chunks and puree inside. Just think mushroomy.

My cod-fish came served with asparagus, bacon and mushroom. Wolfberries and some other herbs were used to create the oreintal gravy. A slight hint of wine could be detected as well.

Dar's tenderloin steak came served with long beans and potato gratin. The potato gratin is so so NICE! This is coming from a non-potato lover like me ok. Haha. There was lotsa cheese and it kinda tasted like lagsania, in fact, better than lagsania! The accompanying sauce which u see on the side of the plate sure helped to compliment the steak very well!

I love this place!

N u can probably guess il definitely be coming back here for more.
