Hmmm.. lemmi see..another overdued entry once again. Muahahaha. Im lagging so bad!
8th July 2007, Sunday
Drove dad and mom to suntec for first service today. Eng Wah theatres were used as additional over-flow rooms as the main auditorium + the 4th and 6th floor overflow rooms could not fit the first service church congregation. The smell of popcorn was overwhelmingly strong! Was really tempted to buy a pack. Popcorn + listening to sermon...hmmm..sth new. Ha Ha. Wont doze off, guaranteed plus stamp chop.
Chilled out at Starbucks, The Cathay, while waiting for dar to knock off from work at 3pm. I had Chocolate Cream Chip again! Alvin introduced it to me and im kinda falling in love with it eversince. Bought a dress from a particular pushcart stall as well. =)
Waited very very long for dar dar to arrive. It felt like eternity. My stomach wouldnt stop making funny noises. I was dead bored as well. Stoned and stoned at the koi pond for almost 30mins. Immediately brought dar dar to PS for some snacks after he arrived, an hour later. BOO.
Shared a spicy beef + pork german bratwurst from The Bratwurst Shop. Bought a pack of spicy Calamari from Chippy's to share as well. Brought all our snacks into Carls' Jr and chilled over a cup of ice-lemon tea. Un-strangely, i still wasnt full. Uber tempted to order Carls' Jr's Criss-Cut Fries but dar dint allow coz dinner time was nearing. BO BIAN but to trut back to dar's place with a half empty stomach.
Dinner with dar's family at his house. His parents ta-baoed cze char from Mei Zhen again.
Yea, this entry looks really dull. Pictures are missing! That's because i dint bring my trusty camera along for fear of losing it, dirtying and spoiling it during camp.
Chew on this: The number 8 acty means "New beginning" in biblical terms. The Seventh day is also known as the Sabbath Day aka rest. As mentioned in the bible, He rested on the 7th day after creating everything from day 1 to day 6. Doesnt it all make sense? The 7th day, is a sabbath day and 7 represents Perfection. On this very day, everything He created was perfect in God's eyes. Hence, leading to the 8th day, which symbolizes A NEW BEGINNING. Hur Hur Hur. Cheem or not cheem?
